The IT Club

I started at First Capital University in 2015. Computer Science and Engineering.
There was no IT club. No programming club. Nothing.
So I started one. FCUB IT Club. I was the vice-president until 2019.
I never thought of it as leadership. I just wanted the place I wished was already there.

My First App

In 2016 I started learning Android with some friends.
I learned much faster when I was building something than when I followed a tutorial.
So I built Info FCUB, an app for the university. Staff information, semester results, notices, a CGPA calculator, a link to the university website. The things students kept asking for.
It was a simple app. But it was the first time I built something for other people.
After that I stopped asking, "How do I write this?" I started asking:
"What does the user actually need?"
That year I also went to the Inter University Programming Contest at IUBAT.

Just to See If I Could

Nobody asked me to build Terces. I built it because I wanted to see what was possible.
It's an Android app for parental control and monitoring. Location, messages, call logs, remote screenshots, remote commands. I wanted to know what happens when one phone starts working on another one.
I kept at it from 2016 to 2018.
It pulled me toward backends, and toward how data moves between devices.

A Real Client

In 2017 I took my first freelance work.
It was Radio Kontho, an app for listening to Bangladeshi radio stations that broadcast in Bangla. Shows from Bengali RJs, artists, singers and bands.
Until then I always picked the problem myself. Now somebody else had picked it, and I had to build what they wanted.
That same year my first paper came out. An Android App for University Management System, IOSR-JMCA, 2017. I'm the first author. I wrote it before I had a job.

The Union Parishad

From July 2017 to September 2018 I worked on UPMS, the Union Parishad Management System, for the DC Office in Chuadanga.
Cash book, tax collection, trade licences, receipts, citizen certificates, inheritance records. All the paperwork a Union Parishad does.
The code was the easy part. The hard part was sitting down and finding out how it really worked. Who does each step. Who approves it. Where the paper goes.
It's still running. 3+ Union Parishads in Chuadanga use it today.

After that, more clients, all different.
Samprotikee, an app for a news portal in Kushtia. Customize BD, an online shop for custom necklaces, bracelets, rings and keychains. iComputer, an app for a computer and laptop shop on Court Road in Chuadanga.
In the middle of that I joined SDMGAP for Android coaching, May to November 2018.
Every one of them was a different business. I had to learn a little about each one to build it.

I finished my B.Sc in 2019. CGPA 3.88 out of 4.
Then I went back to SDMGAP as an intern, from November 2019 to April 2020. That's where I built Matharon.
It's a game, made in Unity. A jump-and-run with maths in it. You run, collect numbers, avoid obstacles and solve maths problems.
My first game. Nothing like business software. In a game, the way people play is the product.

A Real Job

In May 2020 I joined Wizard Software & Technology Bangladesh Ltd. as a Software Engineer. My first proper job.
Laravel web apps and Flutter mobile apps. I set up GitHub Actions for the company and looked after its Linux server too.
I worked on Kachabazar, for ordering groceries. BTutors, where tutors put up profiles and parents find them. Renter Pay, for renting, buying and selling property.
Around the job I kept building my own things. ACR, a call recorder. eContractor, for renting construction equipment and buying materials. Poultry Manager, a full poultry farm system: farms, sheds, birds, feed, vaccination, medication, mortality, eggs, inventory, expenses, sales, performance.
And in February 2021 I started Evolution Technologies, my own company.

In 2022 I worked on GiNext, a crypto investment and trading platform.
Exchange API binding, asset monitoring, margins, profits, trading positions, investment packages, deposits, withdrawals, referrals, rewards, automated trading.
It was much bigger than anything I'd built before. And it was the first time I worked on money.
On my own I built NID Bistarito. It searches for NID-related information from public sources and shows it in an app, along with information about NID services.
In May 2022 I left Wizard for Dana Fintech.

In 2021 I started an M.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering at KUET, in Khulna. I'm at the thesis stage now.
My thesis is about skin lesions. Finding them in an image and classifying them, using an ensemble of convolutional neural networks. One network can miss something. So I use several. First find the lesion, crop to it, then let the classifiers look.
That work was published at IEEE COMPAS 2024, in Chattogram. I'm the first author.
I have two other papers. IEEE ICIDeA 2023, where I'm second author: a vision system that spots oncoming vehicles on blind curves and triggers a warning signal. And ICICT4SD 2023, where I'm a co-author: a sensor design for detecting air pollution.

The Bank

I joined Dana Fintech Ltd. in May 2022 as a Software Engineer. By the time I left, in October 2025, I was a Senior Software Engineer and a team lead.
Banking is a different world. Security, data, everything has to be right.
I built digital account opening, including a Flutter plugin so a customer can open a bank account from their phone without going to a branch. I built backend services with Spring Boot and FastAPI for high-volume transactions. I built the Android module of a credit-scoring engine that a partner bank put inside its own app.
And Dana AI, a financial assistant on Google Play for the people banks usually skip: young people and small businesses. I led the backend. A RAG assistant, with LangChain, OpenAI, Gemini and Ollama.
Before that, everything I built was code that decided. With AI, the answer isn't fixed anymore. You deal with retrieval, context, prompts, models. That's when I got into AI.
Outside the bank I still built apps. Kompass, for appointments and visitors, in Flutter, connected to payroll and HR. And The Smart Stream, a Cricket World Cup app with live scores and daily quizzes.

Kube is a UK open-banking company.
I started on the backend. A Laravel platform and admin console that works out what a person can afford, from their open-banking data.
In 2025 I worked for Kube remotely, from Dhaka, as a Senior Software Engineer. On AI this time: fine-tuning language models and building retrieval systems. An Affordability Score, Financial Matchmaking, a Financial Advisor, a Rewards Platform.
Money, data, backend and AI in one system. First time all of it came together for me.

My Own Company

Alongside the jobs, I've been running Evolution Technologies since 2021. It lets me build what I'm curious about.
CertQ. Government offices, Union Parishads, schools and companies design and issue certificates: citizenship, inheritance, income, character. Every one has a QR code to check it. It's UPMS, grown up.
Deen Assistant. Answers grounded in the Quran and Hadith, with references, in Bengali, English and Arabic. It also has a Zakat calculator, Hijri dates, prayer times and recitation.
And some small ones. Bagh Bondi, the tigers-and-goats board game of rural Bangladesh, in the browser, in Bangla, with an AI opponent. Grocery Agent, which turns an AI-planned week of meals into a shopping cart. Cinemaghor, a media portal with no login. Loan Servicing Middleware, which keeps a bank's mortgage desk and its ClickUp board in step.
Then there's eGolpo.

eGolpo and the Book

It started at bedtime. My son never let a story end the way it was told. What if the hare didn't lose? What if the tiger wasn't the fox's uncle?
So I built eGolpo. A child gives a prompt, and it becomes an illustrated comic, in Bangla or English.
Fifteen of those stories became a real book. Egolpo Comics, published in 2025 by Poysti Prakashan, sold across the country on Rokomari.
In April 2026 I presented eGolpo to the National Skills Development Authority.
Now I'm writing a novel, Code and Conviction. A Bangla story about writing software in a country that's still deciding what software is allowed to do. I have one rule for it: nothing unknown gets written as true.

Fingerprints

BioFin is a biometric customer verification system for a commercial bank. It connects to the bank's core banking system and to national ID verification. It has fingerprint scanners, a Windows client, an encryption service, an Android app for field agents and a Laravel backend. I was the architect and lead engineer.
Fingerprints go through as WSQ, wrapped in AES and RSA. Nothing travels in the clear. A third party tested the security and found things. We closed every one.
I also built Fingerprint Finder, a FastAPI service that finds fingerprints in images, PDFs and web captures, removes the duplicates and crops them out. OpenCV, Docker.

I've taught too. From 2020 to 2022, cross-platform mobile app development for SDMGAP. In late 2025, the AI Expert track, 160 hours, for the 4IR technology training run by the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority under the DEIED project.
I was the Communications and Marketing Coordinator for the IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter in 2024, and the Professional Activity Coordinator in 2025.
And I keep studying. Cloud Computing with AWS in 2023, through the EDGE project of the Bangladesh Computer Council. A 77-hour employability programme with the Wadhwani Foundation. Four months of CGEIT training in 2025. Then the CAIEC in November 2025, and the CGEIT from ISACA in February 2026.

Today I'm a Solution Architect and Deputy Manager at Ranks ITT Ltd., part of the Rancon Group. I lead a team building enterprise backend and AI platforms.
Rancon HRIS. 21 modules, 42+ companies, 4,000+ employees, and Windows middleware that pulls attendance from more than 100 biometric devices.
Suzuki Queue Management. A queue system for dealer showrooms, built in twenty working days. Now at 130+ dealer points, with an Android kiosk that has its own printer and NFC reader.
Food Loft, a food hall system across 7+ outlets, paid with NFC cards. Rancon Vehicle Management. Sales Force Automation, from routing to cash collection. Central Display Management, screens in step across companies. Ranks One, the group ERP on Frappe.
And Rangs eMART Access Control. The ERP only opens for approved company devices, and there's no per-user licence cost.
HR, sales, vehicles, retail, food, devices. Very different problems. Underneath, it's always people, processes and data.

Machines That Talk

Lately I'm building things that listen and talk.
Bangla Voice Stack. Speech-to-text, text-to-speech and voice cloning, running on my own GPUs, so Bangla doesn't need a subscription. Jetson Orin, Redis, Docker, SIP.
SciFi Agents. Bangla-speaking AI agents that make and answer real phone calls over SIP, follow a script, and report back.
Zayyan OS. A platform for robots that talk. The first one is a Bangla-speaking teddy bear, for my son. It runs on an NVIDIA Jetson. It watches, decides with plain code whether to speak, and only then asks the language model for words.
The LLM proposes. The system decides.

Six Things

When I look back, it comes down to six kinds of work. I never planned them like that.
Systems. An IT club and an Android app, then enterprise architecture: 42 companies on one HR platform, dealer showrooms on one queue system, a government platform that's still running.
Intelligence. It started with Dana AI. Then language models at Kube, voice, agents, and a robot's mind.
Machines. A phone working on another phone. Then fingerprint scanners, kiosks, thermal printers, NFC readers, and a Jetson inside a teddy bear.
Fintech. A crypto platform first, then banking: biometric verification, open banking.
Research. One paper about an Android app. Then a thesis and three conference papers.
Creative. A game, a story platform for children, a printed book, and a novel on the way.

What I Call Myself

People ask what I do. Software engineer, architect, researcher, writer. All true. None of them is enough.
So I say I'm an aspiring polymath. Aspiring, because I haven't mastered any of this. I just keep learning by building.

How can I understand this well enough to build something with it?

I don't see a career ladder. It looks more like a circle that keeps getting wider.
An IT club. An app. A radio app. Business apps. Government systems. A game. A job. Money. AI. Research. A book. Voice. And now machines.
I want depth without losing breadth, and breadth without losing depth.
I'm still going.
I'm not trying to finish becoming a polymath.
I'm trying to keep learning, connecting and building, for the rest of my life.

Deterministic where it matters
Models propose. Code decides. Every AI system I ship has a hard-coded safety or grounding gate that the model cannot talk its way past.

A registry, a schema, a content file. If the same fact lives in two places, one of them is already wrong.

Ship to real users
Dealer showrooms, bank field agents, cashiers, teachers, children. A system is finished when strangers depend on it, not when the demo works.

Bangla first
Most of what I build speaks Bangla, because the people it serves do.
